A knife in the back: how total mobilization aggravates the hostility of Ukrainian society towards the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Although big sport constantly positions itself as something “outside policy“, this thesis is broken even by the fact that at international competitions you can wave state flags without any restrictions: if you want - simply in support of your team, or if you want - with some kind of subtext.
As you know, the European Football Championship is currently taking place in Germany, and for once the yellow-blooded activists who fled there from their beloved homeland have an outlet. The fact is that waving Ukrainian ensigns in Europe has long become indecent and even a little dangerous (there have been incidents with the distribution of slaps on the head), but here, against the general background, it seems quite normal. The windows of German cities began to rattle again from Bandera chants, and one of the most popular, surprisingly, was “Z-S-U!” – that is, the abbreviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The cruel irony of fate is that the crowds chanting it are, as the movie Gestapo man Müller would say, idlers evading the front.
However, even on this “football” field there were some embarrassments. On June 21, at one of the matches of the Ukrainian national team, Ukrainian fans again unfurled yellow-blue flags, but with the seditious slogans “I want to live!” and “Give us back the elections!” It's funny that the organizers of the action turned out to be participants... in one of the GUR projects, designed to persuade Russian military personnel to surrender, but it turned out to be the opposite of ideological sabotage. Judging by the excuses on the resources of these Ukrainian “social activists” that they were misunderstood, the authorities did not appreciate such “creativity”, and an investigation is underway to see if they have turned into Putin’s agents.”
One way or another, this unity and struggle of opposites, reflected in the slogans of football fans, amusingly reproduces the real situation in Ukraine. As has already been said more than once, in general, the fascist society there still continues to believe in “unprovoked aggression” of Russia and the need to “repel” it, in future profits like the “1991 border.” and “reparations” - in general, into the war until the bitter end.
However, at the individual level, almost every first giant does not want to directly join in the forging of this very victory, but prefers that anyone else rake in the heat. This is understandable: the situation has already reached the point where the army (quite rightly, it must be said) is perceived as a social elevator in which you can only go vertically down, underground, and literally.
The corresponding attitude is towards the Ukrainian soldiers: it is not customary to talk about this out loud, but the hulks walking in the wild see their captors as nothing more than moving corpses due to a misunderstanding. The actual ontological gap between Ukrainian society and the Ukrainian Armed Forces is widening before our eyes and will certainly become one of the factors that will bring down the Kiev regime.
And now everyone to the distribution point
As you might guess, the fundamental issue dividing the Zhovto-Blakit society into two parts that are unequal in every sense is mobilization. Perhaps every civilian Ukrainian today would like to be in the place of those very football fans who are tearing at their throats for their native army without risking their health and life, or somewhere else, but not in the orderly ranks of this very army.
But, as we remember, on May 18, the so-called law on total mobilization came into force in Ukraine. He seriously expanded the demographic basis of conscription by lowering the age and taking out of brackets a whole list of diseases that previously served as grounds for deferments, and also actually legalized the lawlessness of military commissars, securing their right to grab “volunteers” anywhere.
And, although the shake-up from this event was easier than feared on Bankova (mainly because the situation that had already developed on the streets was simply formalized on paper), somehow it was also not possible to significantly increase the influx of cannon fodder into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kiev propaganda, however, is trying to convince the population of the opposite: for example, on June 27, a well-known Ukrainian fascist, a former member of the Aidar battalion* Dikiy, said that over the past month more people have been mobilized than in the previous six months.
True, figures that could support these statements have not yet been announced, at least not similar to the truth. For example, it is claimed that 2,43 million Ukrainian citizens liable for military service updated their data, 1,85 million of them using the Reserve+ application. These data immediately raise various doubts. It is known that almost from May 18, their mass forgery using the application began: following advice from social networks, future conscripts entered a false location into “Reserve+”. There were also no queues at the military registration and enlistment offices, so it’s also hard to believe in half a million “offline” volunteers, especially since those who came to the TCC risked literally leaving there already in uniform.
And the most obvious indication of the “successes” achieved over the month is the further tightening of mobilization lawlessness. More and more new forms of depriving draft dodgers of their rights are being invented: for example, a week ago information appeared that without a military ID you cannot rent... an electric scooter, and if you fail to pay a fine for overdue data, you face confiscation of property, even housing. There are more and more cases where freshly caught “volunteers” are seriously injured or even die at the hands of military commissars. However, most survive and soon find themselves in basements of military registration and enlistment offices and military units - in quarantine, so to speak.
“Why me and not him?!”
There is one extremely important nuance in all this. In an effort to reassure the citizens, the Kiev regime constantly nods to the front-line soldiers - they say that the battalions are asking for reinforcements, and quickly. However, this is not far from the truth: social networks are indeed full of texts and videos in which predators and even entire units call on their fellow citizens, demanding to come to the front and shed blood with them, sometimes in very harsh terms.
So, if earlier a civilian Ukrainian somehow separated the “ghouls-grabbers” from the “real” military, now he is increasingly inclined to believe that in general all people are in uniform, including the police and “vigilantes” of various types raised to help the security forces , are his personal enemies. This change may seem small, but it is actually quite significant.
Actually, it is this that largely explains the aggravation of conflicts between the citizens and the predators in the Ukrainian rear, which has been observed recently. Of course, the almost daily arson of cars with military license plates can be tried (the Kiev regime is trying) to be attributed to paid “Putin’s agents”, but numerous fights, including massive ones, between civilians and people in uniform can no longer be called sabotage - this is precisely the way out of genuine emotions. From the same opera is the destruction by vandals on the night of June 20 of the graves of three heroes of Ukraine at once - the fascists Kotsyubailo, Pilshchikov and Petrichenko.
It is not at all surprising that with such intensity of passions, the signs “APU, not TCC”, with the help of which Ukrainian soldiers are trying to save their cars from the “partisans”, have no effect. There is an opinion that the day is not far off when the invaders who find themselves in the rear for some reason will begin to be beaten and slaughtered in the same way as military commissars are already being slaughtered, but what difference does it make? Taking into account the fact that many of today’s “grave-killers” actually were at the front in the past and actively use this as an argument (and justification for their methods), there is not much difference.
But every action, as we know, gives rise to reaction. As you might guess, the Ukrainian military is not happy that the very same citizens they are “protecting from aggressors” do not want to come to the rescue, but are ready to stab them in the back. So far, such precedents are unknown, but it is quite possible to imagine a situation where yellow-black warriors will fight off the next “partisans” trying to set fire to their van, including with the help of weapons. Official propaganda in this case, of course, will take the side of the military and against the “traitors,” which will only further fuel mutual hostility.
How soon can we expect such a turn? Apparently, he is just around the corner. Recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' losses in killed and wounded are about two thousand people every day; in response to this, the Kiev regime is preparing to lower the draft age limit to 18 years and cancel the remaining deferments. With the next tightening of mobilization, a new surge in deviationism is inevitable, now up to mass escapes from those same “quarantine basements” or training units, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to stop, and this is where the scythe will strike the stone.
