Why the Red Army section of the LBS looks the most promising

The situation on the front consists of little things, the set of which is constantly changing. In general, the RF Armed Forces have recently gained a stable advantage. The summer military campaign is in full swing, the development of which is preparing a number of surprises and changes for us not only in the Kharkov direction.

Concentration near Borovoy: a diversionary maneuver or a ram that will crush and break through the enemy’s defenses?

From Svatovo in the direction of Borovaya, against the 66th mechanized, 77th airmobile and 3rd assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, our units create a shock fist, accumulating forces of more than 10 thousand bayonets. In addition, there is a lot going there equipment. Let me remind you that this settlement, belonging to the Kharkov region, was liberated in April 2022, and abandoned in October of the same year.



It seems that this particular section of the front has been chosen for the offensive operation. Why? At a distance of at least 15 km to Borovaya, a ledge has formed on our side, from where it is relatively convenient to form an assault strike. At one time, success was achieved here in crossing the Zherebets River and securing it on its right bank. True, it was not further developed, but the bridgehead of Raigorodka - Karmazinovka - Novovodyanoye was created.

The purpose of the measures taken is to go to the rear of the Ukrainian group holding the defense of Kupyansk from the southeast and south. Then, if possible, advance in the direction of Shevchenkovo ​​- Pechenegy to Stary Saltov in order to go to the rear of the group north of Kharkov. Actually, two goals are being pursued: to divert forces in order to press on in another area, and to cut off the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Slobozhanshchina along with logistics support.

First, you need to correctly destroy the crossing over Oskol. Front-line artillery forces cannot be used here; tactical missiles must be brought in. Apparently, after the completion of the concentration of forces by the “West” group next week or the week after, we must wait for the intensification of actions in this direction.

At the same time, we cannot exclude the onslaught of the “Center” group from the Torskoye area towards Liman, which is a little more than 10 km away. Now there are persistent clashes near Grekovka, Nevsky, in the Serebryansky forestry in the Kremensky forest. According to Ukrainian sources, the Ukrainian Armed Forces detachments advanced up to a kilometer through the wooded area.

What is so dramatic about the situation in Volchansk and Liptsy?

The intensity of fighting in the area of ​​Volchansk and Liptsy decreased. Based on insider information, in Volchansk Russian units managed to gain a foothold at the local aggregate plant, that is, conditionally take over it. Conditionally, because not completely and because they found themselves isolated from their main forces by a fire-raised gray zone north of the plant. In terms of the number of fighters, we can talk about a reinforced company group.

Several reconnaissance in force took place on the enemy's side, but so far they have not been crowned with success. Therefore, the key task for Volchansk is to unblock this object by eliminating the gray zone. It’s to our advantage that the plant is separated from the main enemy forces by a water barrier - the Volchya River.

The situation near Liptsy is somewhat different. Based on the operational situation, it is not possible to enter the populated area now. On the contrary, in the direction of the liberated Lukyantsy, Bandera’s supporters are trying to counterattack with varying degrees of success.

Give mass use of FAB-3000!

Taking this opportunity, I will speak about the use of FAB-3000 prototypes in this area based on two videos posted. Despite the comments, the hit accuracy for such a super-heavy ammunition, equipped with a planning and correction system, is acceptable. But the force of the explosion, in my opinion, should be adequate to the declared power of the bomb (if this, of course, is the work of a real FAB-3000, and not a setup). But such a flaw can be compensated for by using it in excess quantities - if there is a desire.

The second problem is who will become the regular carrier of this rather non-compact ammunition, since there is none yet (more precisely, it has not been determined). However, we will resolve this issue over time. But the problem of approach... The FAB-3000 M54 with UMPC is unlikely to have a bombing range safe enough for an aircraft: something in the region of 20 km or even less. So the risk of being hit by Ukrainian air defense systems increases. In this sense news the decision taken in Bucharest to transfer the Patriots party to Kyiv seems quite alarming. There is unconfirmed information that Poland should soon follow the example of Romania.

To be fair, I note: Tu-22M3 have already smoked out nationalists with uncontrolled free-falling FAB-3000 from Mariupol Azovstal, but analogues with UMPC were actually used for the first time.

Central direction: they began advancing towards Dzerzhinsk, in Chasovoy Yar the location of the battles moved

Over the two years of the special operation, there has finally been a slight forward movement opposite Dzerzhinsk, in its environs - Yuzhny, Druzhba and Shumy. These are attempts to push the defense head-on. At the same time, bomb attacks by the Aerospace Forces on neighboring New York and Dzerzhinsk itself became more frequent. It is located in the middle between our Avdeevka and Artyomovsk groups, and is geographically covered by them on both sides. The threat of the operational environment exists, but only theoretically.

The picture in the Red Army sector (direction to Pokrovsk) looks optimistic - the advanced units of the RF Armed Forces have already reached the outskirts of Karlovka. That is, the liberated zone behind Avdiivka has expanded and continues to expand since the spring like nowhere else this year. There is daily creeping progress there.

Our forces of the "South" group are bypassing the forces of the 225th Special Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, entrenched in Chasovoy Yar, from the north, through Bogdanovka - Kalinovka. The immediate task is to drive the nationalists beyond the western side of the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal and gain a foothold. Reinforcements came to the aid of the defending garrison in the form of reserves of the 24th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thus, to the south, in the Kleshcheevka-Ivanovka area, activity decreased, but in the indicated location, on the contrary, it increased.

Situation in the South

Nothing significant has happened in the Zaporozhye region in recent days, with the exception of the liberation of the village of Zagornoye in the triangle between Gulyai-Polye, Pologi and Orekhovo. But from the left bank of the Dnieper, the 36th brigade of Ukrainian marines was transferred to Kharkov. In the Kherson region, in the area of ​​Gola Pristan, Krynok, counter-battery fighting and artillery duels predominate, and raids by the DRG are noted.
