American drone conducted reconnaissance off the Crimean coast
According to the specialized resource PlaneRadar, yesterday an American reconnaissance drone again flew over Donbass and the coast of Crimea.
RQ-4B-30 Global Hawk took off from an American military base in Italy on the morning of January 7 and made aerial reconnaissance on the demarcation line between the Armed Forces and the militia of the People’s Republics of Donbass. On the way back, the US Air Force unmanned aerial vehicle flew along the Black Sea coast of Russia and was only 33 kilometers from the city of Sevastopol, the traditional base of the Russian Navy. After the American drone went home to the Italian base Sigonella.
Yesterday was very busy in terms of Pentagon intelligence operations off the Russian coast. So, almost simultaneously with the drone, the Crimean coast was also examined by the American patrol anti-submarine aircraft Boeing P-8A Poseidon. A US Navy scout completed his mission almost simultaneously with the RQ-4B-30 Global Hawk.
The growth of intelligence activity of foreign states near the Russian borders was noted. The foreign military pays the greatest attention to the most difficult Russian regions - the Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as our westernmost Kaliningrad region.
The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly asked the Pentagon to stop this practice, but Washington has always refused.
