Russian scientists have discovered the world's largest oil reserves

Russian scientists have made one of the most significant discoveries - the largest reserves of crude oil have been discovered. As reported back in May, these deposits are located in Antarctica, a territory claimed by Great Britain. However, further work to clarify the geology and geography of the discovery showed that the oil and gas formations extend much further than the zone of influence of London, although they are inextricably linked. OilPrice writes about this.

The discovered reserves are estimated to contain about 511 billion barrels of oil, about 10 times North Sea production over the past 50 years. Despite the ban on development and production in the region, as well as the world’s gradual abandonment of fossil fuels, the discovery of scientists from the Russian Federation, continuing their research, caused a resonance.

The latest annual report from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) calls the size of oil reserves discovered in Antarctica very significant. It could affect the global hydrocarbon market.

The discovered reserves would thus be the second largest crude oil reserves in the world, second only to the total discovered reserves of the entire Middle East. The region's proven reserves in 2022 will amount to more than 871 billion barrels. The deposits in Antarctica, unlike the Middle East, are located in one deposit, which is why they are considered the largest.

Further development of explored oil horizons showed that they could be well susceptible to development and production, unlike, for example, the viscous fields of Venezuela. This makes the controversial deposit in Antarctica a tasty morsel for any state. In the UK they have already called the actions of scientists a “challenge” and, according to the old tradition, condemned the seismic research method of the Russians.

Russia stated that the discovery was made solely for scientific purposes. But in the West, their “concern” still gave away their plans, discussing the topic of production more than in Moscow, where not a word was said about the practical development of deposits.

That's right, remove the Anglo-Saxons from the Arctic by sending them to Antarctica! A primitive and not far-sighted move and throw-in! Jackals are never satisfied with a thrown bone! They never have enough, they will eat until they die! They don't feel full!!!

...That's right, remove the Anglo-Saxons from the Arctic.....

it is correct to remove the Anglo-Saxons from the planet Earth. So that there is no memory left of them.

As far as I see, it is clearly a political move by the Russian Federation to fight for the bone of two so-called. rival allies, in the person of small-shaven men and mattress makers, given the loss of the globalists and the “shareholders” seeking revenge, besides, Foggy Albion is now out of shape, torn apart by internal and external contradictions, like its overseas partner!
This fight for the future of Antarctica only benefits the whole world, freeing up other regions for the peaceful development of New Centers of Power in the Multipolar World!

Will you explain to me, as a three-year-old, what is more caloric than oil? Only coal, but it is difficult to use, gas is a less calorific product, so oil will always rule the world, what can you put in the tank, for example, of brush cutters, electricity? Yes, you can, but where can you get it, again from the outlet? And the socket must be produced from fossil fuels, neither wind, nor sun, nor atom, it’s all insanely expensive!

Uranium and plutonium are more caloric; the French source more than 70% of their electricity from nuclear power plants. Mini reactors have arrived, the prospects are off the charts, mobile kits can be installed almost everywhere... According to the article, with what fright did our people start trumpeting about the find, silently and without dust we need to prepare for mining. Or they calculated that it was too expensive to extract oil there.

You can install it, it’s not very clear how to ensure safety, and most importantly, where to put the testing...

You are from the Green Party with such “wise” questions. Where should the work go, where did they spend all 60 years? At the same time, the efficiency of the nuclear power plant increases, which means that the output decreases. Safety increases every decade, especially with new generations of reactors.

Well - for example, in the USA they still lie in the station pools... They are already 95 percent clogged. Do you propose to store the waste from small reactors in this way? Can you imagine how much it costs to build such a structure? Especially when you consider that in any case you will have to keep her there for 5 years. So figure out if it's profitable...

Small reactors make sense only in Russia for now, and even then in 10 years, when they will be able to close the cycle on an industrial scale. For everyone else, such a trifle will cause hemorrhoids.

liquefied gas is more calorific than oil when calculated by weight, and by volume and mass oil is more calorific than coal, and the most calorific is uranium

Well, you got carried away with the atom! Today this is the cheapest and cleanest energy. Moreover, Russia is the first to launch a waste-free nuclear fuel cycle for nuclear power plants

If it weren’t for kids, little houses and little gold in that Naglia, then we could forget about the islanders and stupidly start mining, but there are kids, little houses and little gold... crying

How did this oil even form?? If you simply count oil reserves over all the years, then it seems to me that there was not enough biomass on earth to form so much oil

You are way behind the times.
Russian geologists discovered oil is made by the workings of the inner earth. Bio-mass was a theory put together by a team of scientists assembled by Rockefeller in the late 1800s, to increase the price of oil. It's called abiotic oil. A replenishing asset designed by God to last forever.

Scientists are certainly smart, but STUPID....why make such discoveries public? They would have discovered it and kept quiet.

The rest of the world is fussing - there is something to share.

The solution is better engineering for gas turbine engines and improving recycling, or biological bacteria plastic elimination.

Abiotic Oil and Gas is the best option going forward. Nuclear power is too dangerous and stupid. Imagine creating 2 million year poison to boil water.

China has engaged in abiotic drilling and already found massive reserves.
Thanks to abiotic oil and gas China is quickly becoming self sufficient in energy and will soon be a major world exporter.
