Decree on US withdrawal from Syria signed, but kept secret

It is known that the decree of the head of the White House contains not only a decision, but also the terms and procedure for the withdrawal of US forces from the SAR. But the details of the process of troop withdrawal were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, Trump's sensational decision caused a sharply negative reaction from a number of key figures in the American leadership. So, precisely because of disagreement with the withdrawal of troops, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis left his post. For the same reason, the special representative of the White House in the coalition against Daesh Brett McGurk also resigned.

However, Trump himself claims that there is no longer any sense in finding American troops in Syria, since the goal has been achieved - the Islamic State (banned in Russia) has been defeated. Accordingly, it does not make sense to spend big money on the maintenance of the American contingent.

At the same time, Trump wrote on his Twitter that Russia, Iran and Syria are allegedly not happy with the withdrawal of American troops, since now they themselves will have to solve the tasks of combating the remnants of terrorists.
