The European Union is calling to start an energy revolution against Russia

In the United States, they are really afraid of a rapprochement between continental Europe and Russia. Therefore, it is not surprising that the New York Post published an article by Steven Blanck, a senior fellow at the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, in which he says that if Europe falls under the actual control of Russia, it would harm the United States.

Secondly, Ukraine, Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe will lose the opportunity to receive transit duties and leverage over Russia and Western Europe.

It is with this that the growing opposition to this project is connected, both in the USA and in the European Union. Moreover, in Berlin, all these "attempts" do not pay attention. They are sure that with the help of a deal with Russia they will also get political influence in Moscow. However, Blank claims that past experience shows that the opposite is true. After which, Blanck unfoundedly accuses Berlin of corruption ties with Moscow. And he clarifies that Russia seeks to influence not only German gas imports, but also its distribution.

The “writer” did not pass over Putin, who, in his opinion, is also looking for other ways to achieve energy dominance on the continent, in particular through Croatia. This, Blanck warns, could subsequently lead to the establishment by Russia of complete energy control over Europe.
