Kerch scenario could be repeated in the Arctic

1
Similar events with the Kerch incident can happen sooner or later in the Arctic. To such a conclusion came the publication Telepolis (Germany).

Russia traditionally views the Arctic as its sphere of influence. Recently, there has been an increase in the Russian military presence in the Arctic region - the power of the Northern Fleet and the Aerospace Forces are growing. This is due to the fact that Moscow seeks to ensure control of the Northern Sea Route.

However, the United States has repeatedly stated that the Northern Sea Route is not the exclusive property of Russia. NATO, in turn, is threatened with retaliatory measures to build up Russian military power in the Arctic. For example, recently, Norway has seriously strengthened its defense, attracting additional contingents of American troops to its territory.

But Russia in the conflict with Ukraine has shown determination to act to the end, if the matter concerns its state borders and national interests. Therefore, there is no doubt that if a country tries to organize a provocation in the Arctic, it will receive the same answer as in the Kerch Strait.

Without the help of Russia for a long time no one will be able to use the NSR.
Knowledge of the NSR, ground bases and finally icebreakers.
