"White Swans" will begin to "nightmare" the US on a regular basis

Two Russian Tu-160s, which recently flew to Venezuela, greatly alarmed the United States. The point is not even the threat that the Russian-Venezuelan teachings allegedly carried. Washington fears the deployment of Russian military aircraft in the Caribbean.

The missile carriers safely returned to Russia. They flew to Venezuela at the invitation of the country's authorities. Training flights were carried out in full accordance with international standards.

However, they provoked an angry reaction from Washington. They attended not only to violate the Constitution of Venezuela, but also to the fate of Russian children and pensioners, who could be given out money instead of arranging an expensive flight. Such a touching concern!

The aircraft themselves in the United States were called "museum exhibits" (although American strategic aviation is even older than Russian). It would seem that then in Washington they were so scared about the flights of these "museum exhibits"?

The fact is that the United States fears the deployment of a Russian military base in Venezuela. This was discussed during the reign of Hugo Chavez in this country. Ten years ago, he proposed the then President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev to build a base in Venezuela. Russian Tu-160 then first flew to Caracas.

But "political climate ”in those years was different: Moscow did not want to aggravate relations with the United States. Now this issue is back on the agenda, especially given the way Americans break important agreements.

There is one obstacle: Venezuelan laws prohibit the creation of foreign military bases in the country. And it’s not safe to place a parking lot for bombers that can carry nuclear weapons near Caracas. But there is a solution - aircraft can be deployed on the island of Archila. And not on an ongoing basis, but on a rotational basis. This will allow the Russian Air Force to “nightmare” the United States at a lower cost to the budget of the Ministry of Defense, because it is much more profitable to take off from the territory of South America than to drive planes halfway around the world. Washington, however, is unlikely to like such a decision.

There is no practical benefit, but it has warmed up in my soul. It is always nice to write in slippers.
