Ukraine adopted the marine doctrine
The Kiev authorities continue to squeeze out everything they can from their own provocation in the Kerch Strait. For them it has become a kind of “indulgence” in the eyes of the West, which diligently pretends to be a deaf-mute passerby.
It became known that on December 18, 2018, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting approved the marine doctrine of Ukraine for the period until 2035. This was reported to the public on his page in Facebook, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan.
Omelyan solemnly declared that the doctrine is the result of the joint efforts of the ministry and a number of other departments entrusted to his tense hands. He clarified that this is a very important and literally fateful decision for Ukraine. And in general it is not clear how the “nation” has lived according to a different doctrine for all these years. After all, it concerns, first of all, the “aggression” of Russia on the Sea of Azov.
The doctrine should unprecedentedly strengthen the position of Kiev in the Azov-Black Sea region, including the Kerch Strait. About the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles is not specified. But it is said that Ukrainian ports will work with tripled strength and Ukraine will not weaken its position at sea. Priorities are set.
- summed up Omelyan.
What specifically expressed the strengthening of Ukraine is not reported. As well as there is no specifics on priorities, except for hackneyed phrases and slogans. After all, what exactly is written in the doctrine, the minister, unfortunately, did not inform. There is nowhere to read the doctrine. Therefore, so far this “integrated and strategic” document remains unexplored, but we hope that it will be published.

The situation at sea is changing - Ukraine is also changing policies. The stronger the pressure, the stronger the resistance. Like Newton’s third law. We will stand and win!
