Ex-Rada deputy: Ukraine’s policy in the European Union turned out to be a failure

Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, member of the National Salvation Committee Volodymyr Oleynyk said that Kiev should not rely on the free trade of Ukrainian products in the EU markets. No one is waiting for a competitor in the form of Ukraine. He wrote about this on his page on the social network Facebook, meaningfully calling the post “system nipple”.

According to Oleinik, the European Union as a whole and its companies in particular are not interested in this. And for Kiev there will be no exceptions. He specified that the European Union was tired of constantly explaining to the Ukrainian authorities that Ukraine would not be a full-fledged member of the European Union and that it should not count on the European market.

Moreover, Brussels makes restrictions even for permanent members of the European Union. So, Ukraine cannot fully enter the European market in principle. Trade restrictions have been and will be. But for the European Union, the market of Ukraine itself is very interesting, but as a place of sale for its products.

They have achieved this. In principle, the situation is a nipple. Blow in one direction. Ukraine, for the sake of Europe, has lost the Russian market, which was almost not limited to anything

- stressed Oleynik.

He added that faced with reality, the Ukrainian authorities are beginning to take offense at the European Union. It turns out that the “damned capitalists” do not see Ukraine as an equal partner, but simply use it in their mercantile interests. After that, Oleynik summed up - the Ukrainian authorities need to be offended only by themselves.
