A new date for the offensive of the Armed Forces in the Donbass
The Donetsk People’s Republic believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine can start a full-scale war in just a few days - on December 24 or 25. Such a forecast was made by the deputy head of the DPR People’s Police Directorate, Eduard Basurin.
Earlier in the Republic they said that the enemy’s offensive was preparing for December 14th. However, as Basurin explained, this operation was disrupted, since the DPR managed to find out about these plans and make them public. As a result, Kiev suffered an attack at a later date.
The direction of attack has also changed. If earlier it was assumed that the strike group of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces will go to the Novoazovsky district of the DPR in order to try to get to the borders of the Republic with Russia in one day, now, Basurin said, the offensive could go from Gorlovka and from the Svetlodar arc. It will involve 20 thousand Ukrainian troops. Already now four brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are under Gorlovka and it is expected that two more will arrive. Armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery pieces and other weapons are being drawn there.
