Lavrov: Ukraine is preparing provocations on the border
After the provocation that the Ukrainian authorities staged in the Kerch Strait, there was no doubt that they would continue further.
According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, expressed by him on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, provocations on the Russian border from Ukraine should be expected in late December.
Referring to the information received by the Russian leadership, the minister said that a provocation is expected on the Crimean border.
The head of the foreign ministry stressed that the provocations from Ukraine come from the knowledge of Western curators who recommend Poroshenko to maintain a low intensity of hostilities, so that, on the one hand, Russia could be constantly blamed, and on the other, not run into a tough answer.
At the same time, Sergey Lavrov noted that, in any case, Poroshenko would receive such an answer from Moscow that he won’t find it small.
It should be noted that the Crimean authorities announced their readiness for any Ukrainian provocations.
In particular, the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, referring to the Crimeans, said:
