Poroshenko refused to talk about participating in the presidential election

The current president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, seems to be aware of the situation that may be after the presidential election, before which there is little time. The election of the new head of state is expected on March 31, 2019, unless, of course, the elections can be postponed using various tricks and provocations.

During a press conference in Kiev on December 16, Poroshenko said that he was not ready to discuss the issue of his participation in the elections, since the election campaign had not yet begun. In addition, he considered this discussion inappropriate, as he put it, "after the Tomos and after everything."

It is unclear how the issue related to the Tomos relates to the upcoming presidential election. Pyotr Alekseevich would not be a priest, although he was ridiculed for participating in the so-called Unification Council, where he was sitting on the podium. One thing is clear - Poroshenko’s rating is so low that he no longer believes in his own victory. Therefore, you can come up with excuses like tomos.

The head of Independence also said that he was ready to support another person in the presidency.

If I decide to run and if it happens that there will be someone more worthy, I will help him

He declared. True, he made a reservation that while in Ukraine there is no such policywhich would not have a negative rating.

According to recent polls, Petro Poroshenko's rating is 11,4%. His closest competitor is Yulia Tymoshenko, who is ready to support 15,1% of voters.
