Lavrov spoke about the fate of the arrested Ukrainians
It became known that the arrested crew members of Ukrainian ships who participated in the incident in the Kerch Strait on November 25, 2018, will remain in custody until the end of the proceedings. This was announced by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov said in response to a question he was asked at a press conference following a meeting of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers.
Lavrov said that now they are being visited by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova. And he added that nothing threatens their health.
Previously we Reported about this OSCE event, at which Lavrov explained to Europeans the prevailing geopolitical situation. In addition, we informed readers about the transfer of arrested Ukrainians from Crimea to Moscow.
It should be noted that the provocation in the Kerch Strait, which was organized by the Kiev authorities, allowed the introduction of martial law in ten regions of Ukraine. In such an extravagant way, the current president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is trying to extend his tenure.
When the investigation ends, there will be a trial. As soon as the trial of them is completed (...), then it will be possible to talk about how to ease their fate or agree on any specific steps
