The conduct of the Russian SVO on Ukrainian territory continues. This is evidenced by the weekly report of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the progress of hostilities for September 9-16.
According to the department's report, during the specified period, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 11 group strikes with long-range air- and sea-based ammunition, as well as UAVs, against port infrastructure facilities, places of production and storage of unmanned boats, fuel and lubricants storage facilities, ammunition depots, and supplies. equipment and points of deployment of manpower of Ukrainian troops. As a result of the impact, logistics support of enemy troops in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, supplies of foreign-made weapons were disrupted, and a large arsenal of engineering ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed. In addition, on September 11, the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the Dolgintsevo airfield near Krivoy Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a result, 2 MiG-29 fighters and 3 Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
As for the situation at LBS, everything looked like this. Thus, in the Kupyansk direction, thanks to the continuous activity of the units of the RF Armed Forces, they were able to once again improve their tactical position in the surrounding area. During the clashes, 5 enemy counterattacks were repelled, and the artillery and aviation of the Russian Armed Forces inflicted significant damage on the enemy. The enemy lost up to 400 military personnel (killed and wounded), 5 armored fighting vehicles, 17 vehicles, 17 field guns and 1 MLRS. Also, 7 field ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed.
In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the enemy made attempts to regain previously lost positions, but the Russian Armed Forces, through the joint efforts of all branches of the military, successfully repelled 13 enemy attacks. The losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to over 400 military personnel, 18 armored fighting vehicles, 12 vehicles and 10 artillery units.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy did not stop trying to capture Artemovsk (Bakhmut) in the DPR, using the forces and means of four brigades. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to oust units of the Russian Armed Forces from the villages located to the south - Kleshcheevka and Andreevka. Russian troops in this area repelled 34 assault attacks. The enemy lost over 1700 military personnel, 16 tanks and other armored vehicles, 34 vehicles, and 12 field guns.
In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces repelled 8 enemy assault attacks and carried out numerous strikes on the areas where their troops were concentrated. The enemy lost more than 1100 military personnel, 15 armored fighting vehicles, 22 vehicles and 7 field guns. Military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who surrendered reported an extremely low level of moral and psychological state of the personnel of the 36th and 38th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, caused by large losses.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian Armed Forces repelled 18 enemy attacks near the villages of Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye region. Heavy losses forced the enemy command to withdraw the 82nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the rear to restore combat capability, replacing it with the 71st brigade from the reserve and combined assault detachments of the 47th, 65th and 46th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. During the clashes, the enemy lost over 740 military personnel, 20 tanks and armored fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles and 38 field guns as part of counter-battery work.
In the Kherson direction, the Russian Armed Forces mainly interfered with the landing of the enemy’s reconnaissance group on the left bank of the Dnieper River, and also engaged in counter-battery work. Here the enemy lost up to 360 military personnel, 1 tank, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 26 vehicles and 12 field guns.
On September 13, near the city of Krasny Liman in the DPR, a Russian fighter shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter. In the Black Sea, naval aviation aircraft and ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy discovered and destroyed 12 semi-submerged unmanned boats, as well as 3 high-speed boats with landing groups of the Special Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Air defense systems intercepted 19 HIMARS missiles and destroyed 270 enemy UAVs.
