Russian economy in trouble

In the modern world, energy resources play a key role in ensuring the normal functioning of society - and economics, and the military sphere, and social infrastructure. Therefore, energy security issues for each country are of fundamental importance.

It is necessary not only to identify possible risks, but also to decide what to do. The Ministry of Energy has prepared the Doctrine of Energy Security of Russia. It outlines the main threats to the country's energy security. First of all, this policy United States of America.

In recent years, US actions have become a major threat to Russian energy security. First of all, the United States is harming Russia with its sanctions policy. All sorts of restrictions affect Russian energy companies. The Russian energy complex is experiencing big problems from the US ban on access of Russian oil and gas companies to innovative technology, but financial restrictions play no less importance.

For the United States to attack Russia in the energy sector is a strategic task. Russia has huge energy resources and one of the tasks of American politics is to eliminate the advantages of our country from the possession of resources in order to prevent the further economic and political strengthening of Russia. To achieve this goal, the United States is ready for anything and sanctions against Russian energy companies are just a fraction of the discriminatory measures taken by Washington.

Tighter competition in the global energy market is inevitable, but it is also seen as one of the strongest risks for Russian energy. Unfortunately, the development of new oil and gas fields, although it may be beneficial for those countries that begin to exploit them, but is not at all profitable for Russia - market prices are declining, states lacking in resources begin to buy them from competitors. For example, an increase in the production of liquefied gas seriously affects the purchase of pipeline gas, which is one of the most valuable Russian export goods.

The next important risk for Russian energy is the transition to alternative methods of generating energy. For rejection of nuclear energy, for example, the imposing green lobby in European countries, for example, numerous environmental and public organizations, advocates. Refusal to consume oil, gas, coal can seriously damage Russian economic interests. It is not sad, but in this case, new alternative technologies in the energy sector run counter to Russia's direct economic interests.

The Ministry of Energy recognized the presence of a serious technological and scientific backlog of the Russian energy industry. Already in the foreseeable future, this lag will bring great trouble for the Russian economy. Its reason is that most companies are only interested in the constant export of resources, completely not thinking about the development of technology. The reason for the scientific and technological lag may also be an aggravating staff shortage - the number of really worthy workers in the industry is becoming less and less, as well-paid jobs in the oil and gas sector attract people who work for acquaintances, receive paid education, and use corrupt connections. It is unlikely that such people will turn out good scientists and innovative engineers.

The solution of energy security problems should become one of the most important tasks of the Russian state for the coming years. Otherwise, the state of the Russian economy will only worsen.
