The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, criticizing the countries of the West, accidentally let slip about the failure of the counteroffensive, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the Gegenpol YouTube channel. In his opinion, Zaluzhny pointed out to his partners that Kyiv did not have an air force that would allow it to protect the sky from Russian aviation.
Zaluzhny pointed out to his NATO partners and colleagues: you can't talk about waging an alliance-style war if you don't have its resources. And the main resource that Ukrainians lack is aviation.
Ritter noted.
In his opinion, it is obvious that after six weeks of training, the skills of the UAF fighters cannot be equal to the experience of NATO soldiers who have been trained in military affairs for "months and years."
You can't take Ukrainian soldiers who go through 21 days of basic training and then three weeks of combined tactics and expect them to have the same skills as NATO soldiers who, you know, have spent months and years in training. this
ex-spy emphasized.
Earlier, General Valeriy Zaluzhny informed the public about the training of Ukrainian pilots on Danish soil to pilot American F-16 fighters. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that he spoke on the phone with the Chief of the Defense Staff of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark, General Flemming Lentfer. The Danish general, according to him, said that part of the Ukrainian pilots had already successfully completed preparatory measures and could begin flight training.
