All 24 crew members of the Ukrainian courts “Berdyansk”, “Nikopol” and “Yana Kapu”, who violated the Russian border, will be detained for the next two months. Such a decision was made by the Kerch City Court and the Kiev District Court of Simferopol, which examined the cases of detained sailors who participated in the provocation in the Black Sea.

According to the FSB, among the provocateurs were two agents of the Security Service of Ukraine - Andriy Drach and Vasily Soroka. It was they who coordinated the actions of violators. Vasily Soroka, along with two other participants in the provocative operation, was injured. Now he is undergoing treatment at the Kerch hospital. All victims have mild soft tissue injuries. They are already recovering.

Another SBU officer, Andrei Drach, was arrested by the Kiev District Court of Simferopol. Like everyone else, he will stay in custody for two months. At the same time, Drach told the court that he had no intention of violating Russian laws. And he learned that he had violated the border when the ships entered the Russian water area and negotiations began on the air.

Among the detainees is Roman Mokryak, commander of the Berdyansk armored tanker. It was he who, last year, speaking on TSN, proposed to destroy Russian ships using a method called the Wolf Pack. This tactic is that one large ship is attacked by several boats. Initially, this tactic was used by the Nazis during the Second World War. Now he will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian penitentiary system.

The captain of the armored tanker Nikopol, Bogdan Nebylitsa, is a man who also has “merits” to the Ukrainian junta. In March 2014, he did not swear allegiance to Russia, but sang the Ukrainian anthem in Sevastopol, on the parade ground of the Nakhimov Naval School. For this he was rewarded with such an appointment.

The tugboat commander of the Yana Kapu, Oleg Melnichuk, justified his behavior in court by doing dangerous maneuvers in order to avoid a collision with a Russian ship.

Some of the detainees tried to avoid being detained in the cell, claiming that relatives were living in their Crimea. They asked for a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest. However, all of them were sent to jail.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine sent a note to Russia in connection with the detention of members of the crew-violators. However, Kiev needed to think about this at the moment when the sailors were sent to a business that could not have ended with anything else.
