SSJ-100 and Su-57 are born here: KnAAZ is presented in all its glory

The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant (KnAAZ), named after the first-ever cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, is an integral part of the domestic aviation industry, being one of the leading enterprises in this industry not only in Russia but also in the world as a whole.

The plant released its first products in 1936. Then it was a R-6 reconnaissance aircraft, but soon the company switched to the production of long-range DB-3 bombers, a modernized version of which was recognized during the Second World War as the Il-4.

In a long line of machines mastered by the plant are Li-2, MiG-15, MiG-17, Su-7, Su-17. Finally, in 1976, the transition to the Su-27 began, which became the basis for the creation of a modern line of combat aircraft in Russia. Here, the future of the Russian Air Force is born - the latest 5th generation fighter Su-57.

The plant’s capacities make it possible to carry out not only orders of the Russian Ministry of Defense and military departments of foreign countries, but also produce civilian vehicles at an accelerated pace. In this segment, the main face of KnAAZ is the regional passenger aircraft Sukhoi Superjet-100 (SSJ-100), which has already firmly established itself in the domestic market and is successfully advancing among foreign customers.

In this regard, the aircraft factory located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur is worthy of representing the company and the production process established at it in all its glory.

Super waiting for 100 will remain in little demand. Since those who did the project made a huge mistake - they took a narrow engine, and he only flies a third of the guaranteed time. It is strange that this plant produces not only these engines and the rest have no problems, only for Russia ... In general, it is well known that France needs to buy cheeses, wine, cosmetics and bras, but ours apparently did not know this truth ...
