Former allies decided to "tame" Ukraine

2
Everything has its beginning and its end. The time has come for Ukraine to stop posing as an innocent victim and start paying bills.

The Commonwealth of Independent States, of which Nezalezhnaya is a member, is considering introducing sanctions for non-payment of membership fees for participation in the structure.

The fact is that Ukraine participates in the Commonwealth and enjoys the benefits of participating in a huge number of international agreements. But at the same time, Nezalezhnaya does not pay mandatory membership fees, which are the only source of budgeting for this international organization.

Kiev declares its desire to leave the CIS, but does not take any practical steps in this direction. Politics Ukraine in relation to the Commonwealth of Independent States can be safely described as "sitting on two chairs." Due to Ukraine’s refusal to pay contributions, the Commonwealth’s ability to conduct various events is affected. At the same time, there are currently no mechanisms for forcing an unscrupulous member of the organization to execute financial discipline, which Kiev has been safely using for all these years.

Such a policy of "parasitism" could not continue indefinitely. The countries of the Commonwealth are not interested in expelling Independent from their members, but are ready to develop a sanction mechanism that would force the violator of the charter to fulfill their obligations. So Ukraine, with its policy towards neighbors, embarked on the path of international sanctions against itself.
