Ukraine did not expect such a reaction from the West
The Ukrainian authorities are ready to do anything to attract the attention of the West and set it against Russia.
Less than a day after the provocation in the Kerch Strait, the wife of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and concurrently the representative of President Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada Irina Lutsenko said on her Facebook page that Ukraine was urging EU countries to introduce new sanctions against Russia:
Judging by the extremely restrained reaction of the Western media, as well as the silence of officials and leaders of the EU countries, it can be assumed that the West is also somewhat shocked by Poroshenko’s ridiculous trick and is now looking for a way out of the situation.
On the one hand, it is necessary to support the “ally”, on the other hand, the folly of provocation and the goals pursued by Poroshenko are so obvious that to go about it threatens with a final loss of face.
The silence of the Europeans, which has been prolonged to indecent, gives hope that this time Ukraine will get its hands from its “partners” and will remain quiet for some time.
However, Europeans need to understand that the monster that they fed in 2014 on the Maidan will drag them into scams as long as it exists on its own.
