Kiev sent help to its ships in the Kerch Strait

At 7:00 a.m. on November 25, 2018, an organized and well-planned provocation of the Ukrainian Navy in the waters of the Kerch Strait began, which we in detail previously reported. The group, consisting of two armored boats and a raid tug, tried to break through from the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov, without first informing the Russian side.

Currently, unlawful actions by the Ukrainian side continue, and dangerous maneuvers interfering with shipping do not stop. Moreover, Kiev decided to aggravate what is happening.

It became known that in addition to the mentioned forces of the Ukrainian Navy, operating from the Black Sea, at 11:30 two more armored artillery boats of the Gyurz class advanced from the port of Berdyansk (the Sea of Azov). This reinforcement is sent at the highest possible speed towards the Kerch Strait. The border service of the FSB of Russia is taking measures to suppress provocation.

However, it is extremely doubtful that Ukraine will succeed in making a breakthrough. After all, Russia has enough forces and means in this region to suppress any illegal actions. But Kiev is interested not so much in a breakthrough as in the possibility of disruption of shipping in this region of the planet. And maritime terrorism, and this is precisely how such actions can be classified, does not bother anyone in Kiev. Indeed, this should be the “proof” of the very “aggressive” actions of Russia during the consideration of the next resolutions at the UN, which should be held in December 2018.
