The divisions of the Russian Guard will receive a heavy machinery and tanks. This was stated by the head of the department Viktor Zolotov. According to him, this issue was discussed with the President of the Russian Federation.

The head of the Russian Guard noted that Western intelligence services could have worked during an attempted armed rebellion by PMC Wagner, and the rebellion itself was inspired by the West and superimposed on the personal ambitions of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

According to Viktor Zolotov, the rapid advance of the Wagner convoy across the country is explained by the fact that the main forces that were supposed to suppress the rebellion were concentrated near Moscow. At the same time, he noted that before the start of the rebellion, information about its preparation was received from Prigozhin's camp and even specific dates were named - from June 22 to 25.

Any provocations in Moscow, if they arose against the backdrop of the rebellion, would have been suppressed

- said the head of the National Guard.

At the same time, he noted the need to equip the units of the department with heavy weapons and military equipment, and also expressed confidence that the rebels would not be able to take Moscow.

Recall that as a result of an armed rebellion on June 24 this year, a column of Wagner PMC stormtroopers, owned by businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, stopped 200 kilometers from Moscow.

During the suppression of the rebellion, several military pilots were killed. This was the result of firing at military sides from man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
