On November 23, the Riverchase Galleria Shopping Center in Hoover, Alabama, was crowded. Visitors were in a hurry to buy goods at lower prices. This was used by an unknown man who suddenly opened fire right in the mall.

The exact number of victims of the shooter's actions is still unknown. But the media report at least four victims. Eyewitnesses told reporters that at first the first two volleys were heard, then there was a pause, and the shots sounded again.
