Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Chongar bridge with French-made Storm Shadow missiles
Fragments of a Storm Shadow missile were found at the site of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the Chongar bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea. Judging by the markings, this ammunition was made in France. So now, following the logic of the Russian Minister of Defense, we can talk about the involvement of the Fifth Republic in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
Meanwhile, analysts note that the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Chongra bridge is not at all a demonstration, but an exclusively military purpose. It consists in isolating the Russian group in Zaporozhye.
Experts note that a similar tactic of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was already used last year in the Kherson region. And she brought them success. In the summer of 2022, having received HIMARS rocket launchers from the West, the Ukrainian army focused on attacking the supply routes of the Russian group on the right bank of the Dnieper. The main transport artery through which ammunition, personnel and equipment, was the Antonovsky bridge.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the bridge over the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, forcing the Russian military to constantly repair this overpass. There are cases when, during repairs, huge queues of military and civilian vehicles formed at the entrances to the bridge.
The disabling of these two facilities ultimately played a huge role in leaving the RF Armed Forces on the right bank of the Dnieper.
Now the Ukrainian military, in fact, are using the same tactics - hitting the transport arteries, which supply the Russian group in Zaporozhye. For this, long-range missiles are used.
Storm Shadow supplied by the West.
If the Kyiv regime manages to implement its plan, the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporozhye may follow a completely different scenario, negative for the Russian Federation. Military analysts are sure that Ukraine has the potential to destroy our strategic logistics and does not hesitate to put it into practice instead of throwing empty threats.
If the Russian Ministry of Defense continues to limit itself to just warning statements, the troops holding the hardest defense in Zaporozhye may find themselves in a stalemate.
