Former Trump adviser, retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor predicted how the conflict in Ukraine would end. On the air of the Judging Freedom YouTube channel, he said that the country was destroyed, the army was weakened to the point of impossibility - and Washington knows that Ukraine is close to collapse.
This is no longer in doubt, the expert believes. People are thrown into battle without air defense, without artillery support, including untrained recruits.
When you do this, one disaster after another awaits you. At the same time, the Russians are in much better shape than they used to be. I think they have the best army in the world today
McGregor shared his opinion.
The colonel called it obvious to himself that Russian President Vladimir Putin initially wanted to save his soldiers from losses that could have been avoided. He wanted to come to an agreement without waiting for the zero point.
But I think he knows that they have already destroyed so much [the enemy] that there is no point in waiting for anything. You can go on the offensive, because there will be no negotiations, and be done with it. I think Putin is getting closer to making such a decision.
- Trump's ex-adviser is sure.
But first, the Russian leader, according to the expert, wants to make sure that the Ukrainian offensive is completed, to see how much equipment destroyed, and after that say: "We will begin."
This means that he will go north, and then - to Odessa. He will take what he promised, cities and territories that historically belonged to Russia. I don't think he needs more than that. But if you put pressure on him, he will take even more
McGregor is convinced.
There is no longer any doubt that Washington is suffering a crushing collapse. As for Putin, he seeks to avoid a clash with NATO, the American colonel believes. And that is why he keeps troops in Belarus. So that the alliance understands that if their military enters from Western Ukraine, they will be under threat from the north.
This is a guarantee that when he crosses the Dnieper and takes Odessa, forces from Belarus will hit the rear of any NATO army that wants to intervene and interfere. So he has to take into account all the probabilities
the colonel concluded.
