Water from the Kakhovka reservoir continues to flood cities and villages downstream of the Dnieper. The flood has already reached Kherson, residential buildings in the private sector are flooded to the very roof.

In the coming hours, the peak of water rise is expected in Aleshki on the left bank of the Dnieper. As a result of the terrorist act of the Ukrainian army, an emergency regime was introduced in the flooded territories. New Kakhovka took the first blow of the uncontrolled flow of water. In this city, the water level is gradually decreasing, but the elimination of the consequences of flooding will take a long time.

Following Novaya Kakhovka last night, water start arrive in Kherson. Judging by the new footage obtained with the help of objective monitoring tools, the water level in the city is understood. At the same time, the occupying authorities are in no hurry to organize the evacuation of residents.

Recall that yesterday Ukrainian militants blew up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station in order to wash away the first line of Russian defense, but did not calculate the consequences for themselves. As a result, not only Russian, but also Ukrainian positions were flooded. The uncontrolled discharge of water led to the shallowing of the Dnieper and the introduction of a water saving regime in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd regions.
