Prigozhin: the ways of withdrawal of units of PMC "Wagner" were mined by the military of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
The process of withdrawing units of PMC "Wagner" from the liberated Artemovsk was not without provocations. According to the head of the "orchestra" Yevgeny Prigozhin, the exit routes of the "musicians" were mined.
As of today, there are no provocations against us from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but surprises awaited us from the other side. Shortly before our departure, we detected suspicious activity along our route. As part of the discovery of this suspicious activity, we called law enforcement and began to investigate our exit routes along the roads. We found about a dozen places where various explosive devices were placed, ranging from hundreds of anti-tank mines to tons of plastids - a charge from the so-called Gorynych Serpents. All this was under control, while we carried out investigative actions, again together with law enforcement agencies, in order to document everything. Investigations and investigations are underway. Those who laid these charges were representatives of the Defense Ministry. When asked why you did it, they point their fingers up. These charges did not need to be stacked in order to contain the enemy, since it is located in the rear zone. Therefore, it can be assumed that they wanted to meet the advancing units of the Wagner PMC with these charges, although we do not walk in columns. Everything is safe and sound. No harm done. What was it? We assume that this was an attempt at public flogging.
- the press service of the Concord company, owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, reports.
The head of the Wagner PMC did not disclose the details of the incident, as well as the persons involved, citing an ongoing investigation. The information from the press service clarifies that many facts are not subject to disclosure. However, a little later, a video of the interrogation of a lieutenant colonel of the RF Armed Forces was published in the official public pages of the Concorde group.
In the released video, the detained officer introduced himself as Lieutenant Colonel Roman Vinivitin. He stated that “due to personal hostility”, being in a state of intoxication, he fired at the car of the Wagner PMC. Earlier, an officer's unit, consisting of 10-12 servicemen, disarmed a group of "musicians". On the footage shown, the lieutenant colonel admits that he is guilty.
