Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov expressed his opinion on why the RF Armed Forces do not conduct active offensive operations in Ukraine and do not occupy new territories.

This, according to Sivkov, may be due to two reasons. First, the fear of the Russian leadership about the possible transfer of tactical nuclear weapons by the Western allies to Kyiv in the event of a further offensive by the RF Armed Forces deep into the territory of Ukraine. After all, as the expert put it, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received all possible weapons, except for nuclear weapons, the supply of which cannot be ruled out either.
