Large drone shot down in Kaluga region
An unmanned aerial vehicle of an aircraft type fell and exploded in the Kaluga region today. This is reported by Russian Telegram channels. It is specified that the incident occurred near the village of Tovarkovo.
According to local residents, they saw an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle in the sky above the village. Soon after, explosions were heard. Locals suggest that this was done by Russian air defense.
A crater measuring 3x4 meters formed at the site of the drone crash. The wreckage from the UAV scattered within a radius of 100 meters. Footage from the crash site has already been posted online. They have smoke on them. In all likelihood, after the fall, the unmanned aerial vehicle caught fire.
Local authorities have already reported that there is no material damage and no casualties due to the fall of the drone.

Currently, emergency services are collecting the wreckage of the drone for study. Experts will have to determine the type of UAV, as well as its load and purpose.
Note that this is not the first time that Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles penetrate deep into Russian territory. With their help, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to attack not only military facilities, but also residential buildings, as well as the civilian infrastructure of Russian cities.
