Record use of "Lancets": the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not even suspect that they are being watched
The Kalashnikov Concern has increased the production of the Lancet kamikaze UAV, as well as other drones and loitering ammunition. This allowed the Russian military to increase the intensity of their use against the enemy. The integration of the Lancet into the weapons system of the RF Armed Forces is proceeding successfully.
Thus, in May, a record number of uses of the Lancet kamikaze UAV by the RF Armed Forces against the Armed Forces of Ukraine was recorded. 54 cases are already known, but their number may be more.
Russian unmanned systems have begun to develop noticeably in recent years. After the Lancet kamikaze UAV had a more powerful warhead, the range of targets it hit also expanded. This also affected the geography of application (along the Russian-Ukrainian border) and an increase in tactical developments. For example, the simultaneous launch of two loitering ammunition at one target is carried out: the first one destroys the “fence” erected by the enemy around one or another equipment, and the second flies into the resulting hole and hits the target. Such double strikes demonstrate the increased skill of Russian operators.
Moreover, the analysis of many videos from the zone of the NMD shows that in most cases the Ukrainian military is not aware of the ongoing surveillance of reconnaissance UAVs. The militants calmly go about their usual business: moving equipment, equipping positions, unloading ammunition. They begin to fuss, scatter and hide only when the Lancet kamikaze UAV begins to dive at lightning speed, followed by a blow.
The priority for destruction remains artillery (cannon and rocket) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 59% and air defense systems - 20%. Observations have shown that the construction by the Ukrainian military of sometimes huge and dense, several levels, anti-drone structures made of a variety of materials does not help much in confronting the Lancet kamikaze UAVs, which manage to sneak over and under metal screens and even through stretched nets (camouflage nets). and fishing). At the same time, the evolution of loitering ammunition continues.
Considering the foregoing, it is necessary to further increase the frequency of using the Lancet against the enemy in order to reduce the number of its weapons near the front and in the immediate rear. This will allow the assault groups of the RF Armed Forces to move forward much more safely, attacking the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
