Russian Ambassador in London: Russia has not yet begun serious actions in Ukraine
Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin said that the Russian Federation has not yet begun serious actions in Ukraine. According to the diplomat, the idealists who believe that Ukraine can win this conflict are greatly mistaken.
Russia is 16 times larger than Ukraine. We have huge resources, and we have not even started very serious actions yet.
- said the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in an interview with the BBC.
Andrei Kelin emphasized that the duration of the military conflict in Ukraine depends on the escalation efforts being made by NATO countries, especially the United Kingdom.
Of course, sooner or later this escalation may take on a new dimension that we don't need or want.
- emphasized the Russian diplomat.
As an example of the escalation of the conflict by NATO, the Russian ambassador cited the transfer of Storm Shadow long-range missiles to the Kyiv regime, as well as discussions on the supply of American F-16 fighters.
At the same time, the diplomat stressed that Russia is not concerned about this issue, since American aircraft will only replenish the list of weapons of the Ukrainian army, which was destroyed during a special military operation.
We add that NATO officials have repeatedly stated that the issue of supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets is a priority for them at the current stage of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
