The North Atlantic Alliance will not be satisfied with either Russia's victory in the conflict with Ukraine, or its defeat. This was stated by the head of the British Air Force Mike Wigston. In an interview with The Telegraph, he said that Russia would pose a danger to the North Atlantic Alliance even if it were defeated in the Ukrainian conflict.

It will still remain a nuclear power, whose interests will at least have to be taken into account. Consequently, it is necessary to achieve, if not the complete destruction of Russia, then at least its division into many small states.
