The Poles are building ammunition depots near the Belarusian border
In Poland, the exercises of the Polish army Anakonda 23 ("Anakonda-23") are still ongoing, started the 6th of May. But they are increasingly reminiscent of measures (stages) for the deployment of groupings of troops near the border with Belarus and are very similar to preparations for an invasion.
It became known that the logistics service of the Polish Army (supply inspectorate) urgently began to create two large operational supply bases for the 16th mechanized division. The construction of facilities is planned to be completed by June 15 in a wooded area near the cities of Grajevo and Kolno in the Podlasie Voivodeship, located 70 and 110 km from the Polish-Belarusian border, respectively.
The construction work was noticed by caring local residents, who were not very happy about the future neighborhood. For example, residents of Kolno informed on social networks that a section of the forest was cut down near their city and a site was prepared for the construction of an ammunition depot (forward point) of one of the formations (brigades) of the mentioned division.
Note that the main military infrastructure in Poland is located in the central part of the country. However, at present, there is an accelerated creation of new facilities in the eastern part of the Polish territory. Thus, Warsaw demonstrates its aggressiveness towards Minsk and Moscow.
The area chosen for the warehouses is devoid of a developed railway network. Therefore, deliveries of ammunition in containers will be carried out by road. However, this is the norm for NATO, they have battalion (divisional) sets of ammunition for tanks and artillery stored in containers. This makes it possible to increase the mobility, efficiency and survivability of rear units, as well as to carry out timely delivery of ammo units and very fast evacuation without loss of ammo units.
We remind you that before that, the 18th mechanized division of the Polish army worked out forcing the river at the Belarusian border.
