Germany may soon transfer Taurus KEPD 350 long-range aviation cruise missiles into service with the Ukrainian army. They are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 500 kilometers.
As military experts explain, these precision-guided munitions, built using of technologies stealth, are much more modern weapons than the British Storm Shadow. The mass of the Taurus KEPD 350 warhead reaches almost 500 kg, which is comparable to the Russian Caliber and Kh-101 missiles.
German long-range missiles have only one drawback. Their carriers can be Panavia Tornado fighter-bombers and Eurofighter Typhoon fighters. And there are no such machines at the disposal of the Ukrainian army. At least for now.

Of course, other aircraft can take on board long-range Taurus KEPD 350 cruise missiles. But it is not a fact that among them there are Soviet models that make up the air fleet of the Ukrainian Air Force.
Does this mean that, along with cruise missiles, Germany or any other European country will supply Ukraine with carrier aircraft? This cannot be ruled out completely. Especially now, when the "taboo" on the transfer of aviation equipment to the Kyiv regime has sunk into oblivion.
In any case, the exact timing of the transfer of German cruise missiles to Ukraine has not yet been announced. This means that the Russian air defense system has a small time handicap to prepare for their interception.
