Pictures of the so-called decoy missiles that the Russian army uses to identify Ukrainian air defense positions have been published on the Web. Ammunition that does not have a warhead was created on the basis of the Kh-55 missile. The pictures were taken in the Kyiv region.
The Russian army has recently significantly increased the number of missile attacks on military targets in the Ukrainian rear, while at the same time improving their quality. If earlier Russian generals often heard reproaches that they were “nightmare” by Ukrainian transformers with cruise missiles, now even recognized skeptics applaud the effectiveness of the actions of the Russian army.
At the same time, military experts separately note the new tactics of launching missile strikes against protected objects in Ukraine. Its essence lies precisely in the use of a large number of imitators or decoy missiles.

These munitions, which are actually Kh-55 missiles, do not have a warhead. But the air defense of the Kyiv regime is forced to respond to them, revealing its positions and spending ammunition.
Only after that, attack drones and cruise missiles come into play, which without any problems hit both air defense systems and important targets in the rear. A few days ago, using this tactic, the American Patriot air defense system was destroyed, and last night military facilities in different regions of Ukraine were hit.
And the propaganda of the Kyiv regime, meanwhile, does not get tired of reporting on a large number of downed Russian missiles. The footage from the Kyiv region published on the Web is the best confirmation of these statements. Ukrainian air defense really successfully shoots down decoy missiles. Nobody argues.
