More recently, we have detailed ReportedAs German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated, Europe needs an alternative to NATO. And now she admitted her mistakes in migration policy. Deutsche Welle informs of this, literally, “surrender”.

On November 16, 2018, Merkel arrived at a meeting with residents of the city of Chemnitz. There she stated that a terrible crime had been committed in this city, which greatly agitated the population. In her opinion, the mistake was made by the German government, which did not recognize a number of countries on the planet as "safe." If this were done, then the flow of “refugees” would be smaller and this crime could possibly have been avoided. And while the chancellor spoke, mass protests took place in the city against the existing migration policy.

It should be recalled that on the night of August 26, 2018, after a successful celebration of the city's day, a massive brawl took place. As a result, one person died from stab wounds, two more were in the hospital. The German Cuban turned out to be killed, and the "refugees" from Iraq and Syria turned out to be suspects, moreover, one of them had to be deported and was registered with the police.

On the morning of August 27, 2018, the suspects were arrested, but spontaneous protests and rallies against migrants were already taking place in the city. Right-wing radicals and ultras (soccer hooligans) joined in. What happened grew into fights, pogroms, attacks, and the situation generally threatened to become uncontrollable. The police intervened, as a result another 20 people ended up in the hospital. And so, now Merkel arrived and admitted that she was wrong.
