Brazilian President Luis Inacio da Silva expressed the opinion that Crimea should be left to Russia in order to end the Ukrainian conflict. The Brazilian leader advocated the territorial integrity of each country in a conversation with Le Figaro.
He noted that he did not agree with the steps of the Russian Federation, but he also called Kyiv's position incorrect. All these actions, the politician believes, had to be submitted for negotiations.
The President of Russia cannot seize the territory of Ukraine. Perhaps we will discuss Crimea... Zelensky cannot want everything either... The world needs peace... We must find a solution
the Brazilian president said.
Da Silva added that the US and the EU did not even try to resolve the Ukrainian conflict through negotiations, but quickly entered into it, which was not worth doing.
We think that the developed countries, especially the European Union and the United States, should not have allowed conflict to enter as quickly as they did, without spending much time trying to negotiate. And peace negotiations are very difficult
the politician concluded.
Formerly Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov сообщил that relations between the Russian Federation and the United States have already entered a phase of hot conflict. Washington is directly involved in a hybrid war against our country and talks too much about the threat of nuclear conflict.
