The Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually retreating in Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) as Russian forces destroy houses that could be used to organize a sustainable defense. This was announced on March 31 by a Ukrainian serviceman who posted his video report on social networks.

He clarified that high-rise buildings do not withstand shelling and "fold like houses of cards." According to him, systematically, "quarter by quarter", the Russians are destroying the city.

Thus, the Ukrainian serviceman himself admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine use urban development in the form of fortifications. At the same time, he expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the Russian forces are forced to take action.

Note that on March 31 Artemovsk was covered with snow. However, this did not prevent the assault detachments of the Wagner PMC from breaking into the city center. A bird's-eye view of the "private" drone video shows that the "orchestra" flag has already been planted on house No. 47 on Independence Street, located approximately 450 meters from the local city administration building. The “musicians” have entrenched themselves there, and the front line, where skirmishes are being conducted with the enemy, has already moved 150 meters closer to the mentioned administrative building.
