Russia faced the task of creating its own fleet of bulk carriers

Following Cargill, grain trader Viterra Limited is leaving Russia. Both companies opposed the NWO to varying degrees and provided humanitarian support to Ukraine. The Ministry of Agriculture of HA said that the withdrawal of companies will not affect the volume of Russian grain supplies abroad, since the assets of traders will continue to work.

According to the telegram channel "Sovereign economy”, It is high time for Moscow to put things in order with TNCs that harm the domestic economy, this will only benefit the agricultural complex. After the departure of Cargill and Viterra Limited, there are still quite a few corporations on the Russian market that are cashing in on Russian agricultural products, selling them at inflated prices.

Thus, the conglomerate Louis Dreyfus managed to increase its share in the Russian market due to the fact that it was not affected by sanctions restrictions. ADM continues to own two corn processing plants in the Russian Federation, and after the start of the special operation, the company transferred about $5 million to Ukraine.

In this regard, Russia is faced with the task of creating its own fleet of bulk carriers for the supply of grain. At first, this problem can be solved with the help of a gray fleet of ships supplying petroleum products. Sovereign Economy also considers it important to search for new markets for agricultural products - Bangladesh, Turkey and Egypt can become them.

    And so, just this week:

Rosagroleasing ordered a project for the construction of 40- and 60-thousand-ton vessels in terms of displacement. These are the largest ships - bulk carriers of the oceanic type. We expect that in about half a year two projects will be ready, respectively for 40 and 60 thousand tons of displacement. And within the next 2-3 years, the lead ships will be launched. And then the series will start. We have gathered together with the Ministry of Agriculture the demand for such vessels. It is very big. At the moment, what we see is 61 ships
