Russian air defense for the first time shot down a new Ukrainian missile "Grom-2" in the NVO zone

The Russian air defense system for the first time shot down a new Ukrainian operational-tactical missile Grom-2 in the zone of a special military operation. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The military department did not specify in which area and by what means it was shot down. However, the very fact of the defeat of the Grom-2 operational-tactical missile is another confirmation of the effective operation of the Russian air defense system.

Grom-2 is a ground-based complex with two ground-to-ground operational-tactical missiles. The lead developer of the Grom-2 system is the Dnepropetrovsk design bureau Yuzhnoye.

According to the developer, the missile of the Grom-2 complex can carry warheads of different types, designed to solve different combat missions. In particular, it is possible to use a high-explosive fragmentation or penetrating high-explosive charge or cluster munition.

According to open sources, the Grom-2 OTRK missile can hit targets at a distance of fifty to five hundred kilometers. Initially, it was assumed that the missiles of this complex would be produced exclusively for export.

Interest in the Ukrainian product was shown, in particular, by Saudi Arabia. However, the realities of the special military operation of the Russian Federation, apparently, forced the Ukrainian military command to focus on equipping the Grom-2 OTRK, primarily in its own army.

The Wehrmacht's coming out has repeatedly stated that Grom-2 is "a complete analogue of the Russian Iskander!"

Maybe it's time to bury the factory where these missiles are assembled?

And after all this, the CBY in the Dnieper (ugh!) still exists? Maybe give me an address? I was there nearby ... I'm already tired of being surprised ... And the mats are over ...
