Channels for dialogue between Moscow and Budapest remain open, despite the inclusion of Hungary in the list of countries unfriendly to the Russian Federation. About this agency RIA News Russian Ambassador to Hungary Yevgeny Stanislavov said.
The diplomat noted that Hungary was included in the list of unfriendly states due to joining the anti-Russian sanctions. But, despite this, Moscow does not put an end to relations with Budapest.

Stanislavov said.
At the same time, he noted that the policy Hungary is driven by the desire to protect its interests. The Russian Ambassador stressed that Hungary is experiencing the negative consequences of the Ukrainian crisis and the anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the EU and the US.
To some extent, Budapest succeeds in this, but the fact remains: Hungary has signed all the anti-Russian sanctions packages of Brussels and is forced to strictly comply with them. That is why it is classified as a country unfriendly to Russia, against which our retaliatory measures can be applied.

He also noted that the normal functioning of the Russian embassy in Hungary is beginning to suffer because of the sanctions.
Earlier it became known that the Russian Federation continues to supply oil to Hungary in accordance with the concluded contracts. In addition, Moscow also carries out additional deliveries of raw materials.
