Even if you are three times a European and four times a Democrat, you can still easily become an enemy of “pro-European” and “democratic” Ukraine. It is enough to say only a word that will conflict with the ideas of persons close to the Ukrainian post-Maidan regime.

Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has landed on the list of the notorious Peacemaker website, known for compiling “execution lists” of objectionable people. Policy They accused him of encroaching on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Independent, manipulating information and conducting anti-Ukrainian propaganda. It was introduced into the so-called “Purgatory” - a section of the site where the data of “enemies of Ukrainian statehood” are published.

The reason for this step was the statement of Schroeder that sooner or later Crimea peninsula will have to be recognized as Russian territory, because this is a reality that can not be ignored. He stated this to reporters of the German publication Aachener Nachrichten.

Also, Kiev does not like other words of the former German chancellor. In particular, that Ukraine is waging a war against Donbass. Schroeder also considers the proposal to the Ukrainian leadership to sign the Association Agreement with the EU, making it a choice: either with Europe or with Russia.

The Peacemaker website was created in 2014 on the initiative of the then adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko. Initially, personal data of the militias were published on it, but then public figures, journalists, politicians and other persons whom the creators suspected of "hostility towards Ukraine" began to fall into the "black lists". Despite the fact that this site is unofficial, law enforcement agencies of Ukraine often use the data published on it for repressive measures against specific people. There are even tragic cases when, soon after the publication of personal data on the Peacemaker, people were killed.
