US creates a unit of "aggressors" and learn to fight with Russia

The command of the US Navy is going to create a special unit of "aggressors" as part of its submarine fleet, which will be used in exercises to work out confrontation with Russian and Chinese attacks.

US Naval Vice Admiral Charles Richard, who is actively promoting the new plan, believes that submariners should be constantly prepared to repel the likely aggression from Russia or China. A similar division already exists in American aviation, which is armed with several Russian aircraft.

The plans to create a special unit that would play the role of the Russian fleet during the exercises show only one thing - recently the Pentagon has been very seriously approaching the prospect of a direct armed conflict with Russia. This confirms the whole thrust of the current US military policy.

The global political situation is such that the war could be the natural culmination of deteriorating relations between Russia and the United States. But even if you do not think about the worst-case scenario, the likelihood of local conflicts in the ocean is even higher.

True, there is also China, which the Americans also see as a likely adversary. U.S. Navy ships are increasingly navigating in the Pacific Ocean in close proximity to Chinese ships. In an effort to maintain control of the Asia-Pacific region and prevent the strengthening of the PRC's positions, America is expanding its naval grouping and, as we see, is striving to improve the combat training of submariners.
