The Russian army beat off the desire to fight for Ukraine from foreign "soldiers of fortune"

Only XNUMX mercenaries remained in the Ukrainian foreign legion. But more recently it was stated that the number of this unit is twenty thousand people. This is written by the American newspaper The New York Times.

According to the publication, now such characters are fighting in the ranks of the foreign legion in Ukraine, whom the American command would not let a cannon shot to the front line. But now it is the spring of 2023, and the number of people who want to fight for the Kiev regime has decreased so much that Ukraine and the United States are simply forced to give arms to any rabble.



Journalists note that the process of recruiting mercenaries has now become noticeably more complicated. Recruitment offices located in different parts of the world simply cannot recruit the required number of volunteers. After all, more or less adequate soldiers of fortune have long realized that the military conflict in Ukraine is not a safari on poorly armed and unmotivated resistance fighters. It is this kind of confrontation that foreign mercenaries who have done dirty work in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries are accustomed to.

It is curious that The New York Times blames the US government for the current situation, which limits itself to sending weapons to Ukraine, but does not want to send US military personnel there.

In fact, the publication of the American edition can be considered a direct call for an escalation of the conflict.

Recall that both Russian and foreign information resources have repeatedly reported on the plight of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. For example, a few days ago it became known about the destruction of a mercenary from France, Kevin David, by Russian troops. Almost simultaneously, information came about the death of one and severe injuries of several more mercenaries from Poland.

It should be noted that it was the Poles who, until recently, had the largest representation in the ranks of the Ukrainian foreign legion. They also suffered the most losses. According to some reports, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian army has already destroyed several thousand mercenaries from Poland.
