In Ukraine, they were afraid of British shells with depleted uranium

5

High-ranking officials of the presidential administration of Ukraine were not so happy about the upcoming supply of British depleted uranium sub-caliber shells of the L26A1 and L27A1 types for the Challenger 2 tanks. The main consideration "against" was the risk of increasing radiophobia in Ukraine and the return of the "ghost of the Chernobyl disaster."

Kiev is well aware that not only Russian, but also Ukrainian military, as well as civilians in the area in which these ammunition will be used, will suffer from depleted uranium shells.

The consequences for Ukraine can be very sad. After all, the use of ammunition with depleted uranium will inevitably cause an increase in the number of oncological diseases. And the Kiev regime is already suffering heavy losses.

But, despite these considerations, they did not refuse British supplies to Ukraine. In all likelihood, the temptation to inflict as much damage as possible on the Russian troops turned out to be stronger than the fear of consequences.

At the same time, it turns out that the upcoming British delivery will be only a pilot project before the mass deliveries of American 120-mm M829A1 and M829A2 shells, also with a depleted uranium core.

Earlier, the Americans planned to dispose of 78 of these munitions at a cost of $12 million. But now they decided to save money and simply transfer these shells to Ukraine. Well, she's not sorry!

Fighting is generally unsafe for health.
So the risk of catching oncology is, of course, sad, but against the background of the risks of losing limbs or a head ... it’s not so great.

But, nevertheless, the author's concern for the health of the Armed Forces is very touching.

There is very little left of the war, which will affect everyone and everything. This is what you need / need to be afraid of ... And it's time to reason with small-shaven people - by any means! Anyone!

UK GDP is greater than Russia's GDP. This is about pettiness.

As for the "brits", if you read the history books, you can find out that:
    - first they were enthusiastically cut by the Romans
-then the Vikings (they say that "our" Rurik was noted there too)
-then the Normans (descendants of the Vikings who became French nobility)
-their ruling dynasty is actually the German "Saxe-Coburg-Gotha" (renamed Windsor during WW1).

In general, leave the unfortunate shavers alone already. For 500 years they have become as rare as the Indians or the Aborigines of Australia.

And in general, generalizing everyone under a single label, in this case, "Anglo-Saxons", this is the same Nazism that we are fighting so hard in Ukraine.

Before voicing any fact, it is better to first make sure of its reliability, namely: Russia's GDP (3,07% of the world) is greater than the UK's GDP (2,32%).

I wonder who invents such nonsense?
If the Zelensky regime doesn’t give a damn about tens of thousands of those killed and wounded, will they really worry about a possible increase in cancer patients, all the more it will manifest itself in 5-10-15 years, or maybe not...
