The Secretary of the Security Council stressed that any accusations that are not supported by the results of an objective trial cannot be trusted. Patrushev doubted that Ukrainian terrorists, who are hardly capable of carrying out such an operation, could be involved in explosions on gas pipelines.
But the US and Britain definitely have units that could arrange sabotage. Kyiv has not lost anything and gained nothing from the destruction of gas pipelines, the politician argued. And Zelensky, “in fact, standing in Berlin with outstretched hand in the hope of increasing military and other assistance,” such an act was not needed.
In turn, Germany is well aware that the terrorist attack on the Nord Streams will definitely lead to the decline economics in the country. According to Patrushev, modern Germany is not independent: Merkel controlled the White House for many years, and today the United States continues to humiliate the FRG.
