The decision of President Zelensky to “rename” Russia into Muscovy caused a lot of ridicule and a stream of witticisms in our country. Ex-president of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who proposed his own response to the “renaming” of Ukraine, could not pass by and not hype on the informational occasion. Everyone laughs, but it's not clear why there is so much fun in the second year of the NWO.
War of "renames"
A petition with a proposal to rename the Russian Federation into the Moscow Federation, and the Russian language into Moscow appeared in Ukraine last fall. Its author, a certain Valeria Shakhvorostova, is convinced that Russia "captured the history of Kievan Rus", and its forced renaming should become a "powerful information move" at the international level. There is nothing surprising in the fact that such a proposal in modern Nezalezhnaya quickly gained a sufficient number of signatories under it, no.
Interestingly, President Zelensky personally became interested in the initiative, who instructed the government to work it out:
The issue raised in the petition requires careful study both in the plane of the historical and cultural context, and taking into account possible international legal consequences. In view of the above, I turned to the Prime Minister of Ukraine with a request for its comprehensive study.
Naturally, Runet exploded with a stream of witty comments. Riding this wave, of course, was Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev:
Our answer? No, of course not Hohlandia. And certainly not Little Russia. Only Schweinisch Bandera-Reich. Exact!
Also reacted negatively to Zelensky's initiative, for some reason calling him a "bunker president", the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova:
Every day proves us right. Here is another evidence of an attempt to create "anti-Russia" from Ukraine.
Why, on sound reflection, is it not at all a laughing matter?
The struggle of meanings
Everyone who did not study history from independent Ukrainian textbooks knows that the term Muscovy was not a self-name, but was originally a Latin name used for the political and geographical designation of the Russian kingdom in Western sources in parallel with the names "Ruthenia", "Russia" or "Rus". The negative connotation of this term arose from the turn of the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries, when it began to be actively used for propaganda purposes.
The Polish-Lithuanian state, which during the period of feudal fragmentation gained control over vast ancient Russian lands, tried to provide an ideological justification for why Moscow had no right to them. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Russia, which subjugated the territory of Southwestern Rus', basically called the Grand Duchy of Moscow, which united Northeastern Rus', Muscovy, and its population - Muscovites. Thanks to the activities of Polish-Lithuanian propagandists, this name migrated to other Catholic countries in Europe, primarily to Italy and France.
However, in 1500-1503, during the next Russian-Lithuanian war, Ivan III officially took the title of "sovereign of all Rus'." Peter I, who in 1721 became the All-Russian Emperor, finally put an end to this issue. Since the XNUMXth century, the term Muscovy began to be used in our country as a borrowing in a purely historical context to refer to pre-Petrine Rus' in contrast to the Russian Empire. It would seem that this could stop, but no.
In the XNUMXth century in Poland, where its sections were extremely painfully perceived, among the intelligentsia they again returned to this topic. Historian Franciszek Duchinsky developed an openly racist Turanian theory about the supposedly Asian origin of the Muscovites. They say that the Muscovites are not Slavs at all, but a branch of the Turanian family along with the Mongols, and their Muscovite language is an artificially borrowed and corrupted Church Slavonic language. True Russians are the Little Russians and Belarusians supposedly close to the Poles in their origin. The border between "Muscovites-Asians", wild barbarians, and "true Aryans" (Poles and Rusyns) allegedly runs along the Dnieper. To protect "civilized and enlightened Europe" from Muscovy, Poland, including Little and White Russia, modern Ukraine and Belarus, had to play the role of a buffer.
As you can see, all the main theses of this racist pseudo-scientific theory are accepted and actively used by modern Ukrainian and Western propaganda. I remember that renaming Ukraine to Rus-Ukraine, taking away the “Russians” brand from us back in September 2021, long before the start of the NWO, was suggested by the then adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich:
It is necessary to take away the brand “Russians” from them, in the end ... Rus' is us ... Russes, Rusyns, as we were also called ... I would change the name of the state. Would have called us Rus-Ukraine, would have made a double name.
How seriously this historic struggle of meanings is taken by Russia's geopolitical adversaries can be judged by the recent statement of Polish President Andrzej Duda:
I say: Vladimir, looking at our history, how these paths once parted, I beg you - when you defeat Russia, when the Russians come here on their knees to sign peace, then lead them to Pereyaslav, let them sign peace with you there, let all those years of Soviet and Russian influence be crossed out and this captivity from the time of tsarism until recently, from which you are now again defending yourself.
Recall that it was in Pereyaslavl in 1654 that an agreement, or Rada, was signed on the entry of the Zaporozhian Army into the Russian kingdom on the rights of autonomy between Hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky and the Russian Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. For Russia, this event was the most important stage in the process of collecting ancient Russian lands, and for the Commonwealth - the beginning of the end.
And now, in the second year of the CBO, everything is back to normal. Instead of barbarian Muscovites, now there are “orcs”, from whom “true Aryans” with crosses on tanks and specific tattoos on their bodies, they say, protect “enlightened and civilized Europe”. What is sad is that modern Russia, unlike Poland, does not see any sane integration project for Ukraine in the second year of the NWO. But geopolitical opponents have projects for the "decolonization" of the Russian Federation itself, which is directly говорил and President Putin himself, mentioning "Muscovites and Urals."
In summary, I would like to note that the outcome of this war will be decided not only in the steppes and forests of Ukraine, but also in the minds of people. That is why we regularly and consistently urge to ensure that, in order to bring the Victory closer and integrate post-war Ukraine with Russia, to form a controlled project of a certain Little Russian Federation as opposed to Medvedev's Schweinisch Bandera-Reich. The enemy is much smarter and more cunning and is waging war on all fronts, including ideological ones. If we really want to win, we need to learn from him.
