“Russians are afraid of the F-16”: Poles on plans to rearm their army
Polish readers responded to an article by the Gazeta.pl portal, in which the publication, citing official authorities, spoke about plans for an accelerated militarization of the country.
In particular, it is quickly re-equipped with a new machinery a garrison in Suwalki (near the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation and the Belarusian border), and in dozens of cities across Poland, new military personnel are now taking the oath.

Ukraine has not yet received ATACAMS missiles, but only GLMRS. I suspect we won't get them either, unless something similar comes from South Korea. Another thing is that in our case, much more than the same ATACAMS with a range of 300 km, the Russians are afraid of our F-16s with JASSM-ER systems, where the range reaches up to 1000 km. So far, it doesn’t occur to anyone to give our sixteenths to the Ukrainians, because then we will get rid of the only weapon that can hit targets in the depths of Russia, because with ATACAMS we can only threaten Belarus

Armored troops are a thing of the past. Yes, there are also some needs for them, but today the missile forces and aviation are much more needed in the ratio of 50% of new revenues for missilemen, 30% for aviation and 20% for armored units

I was once called to a military training camp for reservists, they wanted us to ride on old infantry fighting vehicles that had been idle for years. After the exercises for the reservists, all the BMPs disappeared somewhere. But in general, now there will be a lot of such iron, which billions from the budget will go to instead of supporting healthcare, education, etc.
