Russia is preparing a new type of military operations against the US and NATO

Currently, the Pentagon is developing a NATO "Strategic (global) multi-sphere operation" to destroy the nuclear potential of the Russian Federation. In turn, Russia is actively planning its own events in response. This is reported in a joint article for the military-theoretical journal "War Thought" the first deputy commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Fazletdinov and retired colonel V. I. Lumpov.

The military clarified that Moscow is developing a new type of military operations, which does not exclude the use of nuclear weapons to protect against possible aggression from Washington. The publication notes that these are protective measures, in the implementation of which the Strategic Missile Forces will play a decisive role as they are equipped with hypersonic and other advanced weapons systems.



The authors emphasized that the prevention of this aggression seems possible with a "convincing demonstration to the enemy" of the ability of the Russian Federation to ensure the fulfillment of the deterrence criterion at least at one of the stages of the mentioned operation of the North Atlantic Alliance. As Washington loses its leading position on the planet, the aggressiveness of the United States increases, including in relation to Moscow, which the Americans perceive as "the main culprit in the loss of world domination."

The United States plans to use NATO's coalition military potential against Russia. At the same time, the civilian capabilities of the “peace-loving” bloc, partner states, international structures and NGOs will also be involved. The actions of the participants in the anti-Russian operation will be coordinated in all environments, including geographic, geophysical and virtual, and areas, including space, information and cybernetic. Superiority will be ensured and maintained through a "single information management space".

The enemy's plan implies the deployment of numerous missile defense forces around the Russian Federation and an instantaneous global nuclear strike that can immediately destroy up to 70% of all strategic nuclear forces of the Russian Federation. Russia's response will be the "Operation of Strategic Deterrence Forces" (OSSS), which involves the use of modern strategic nuclear and non-nuclear weapons, taking into account the latest developments. One of the countermeasure scenarios is the destruction of the enemy's missile defense system, which should exclude the possibility of eliminating our flying ICBMs and increase the enemy's unacceptable damage.
